A usage plan is the media plan without the contract, issued after signature to guide the client on how the airtime will run. In an airtime barter the on-air calendar is added once dates are set and a pattern other than "client to decide" is chosen.
MOU Competition Giveaways
ARN FIN AGREEMENT 0012. The sponsor supplies the prizes; we run the competitions on the station and credit them each time. No barter value, no media plan.

Start from their presentation AI · reads it with Claude
Drop in the event deck, brand presentation or brief the partner sent (PDF, PowerPoint or Word). Claude reads it and suggests the names, dates, venue, contacts, headline figures and an optional About the event page for the client documents. Nothing goes into the form until you tick it and press Apply.
1. Who and what
Goes on the cover, the header of every page and the signature page.
Client signatory not known yetThe contact is always known; when the signatory is not, their name and title are left blank for the client to fill in on the agreement.
The event runs over several days
2. When it runs
Pick how many weeks before the event the campaign starts, or set the dates yourself, then choose how the exposure is spread.

The announcement day gets a short burst (about 15% of the mentions, promos and stories over three days). The main exposure builds from:

No calendar is built. The plan and the agreement carry the spots per station and their value; dates and placement are agreed with the client after signing, and a usage plan can be built here later.
Choose the stations and elements in card 3, then drop the numbers on the dates in the calendar below the lines table. The quantities, the value and the contract all follow what you plot.

3. What ARN puts on air
Add a station and every deliverable it offers comes in; delete the ones you do not need. Competitions are whole weeks: Monday to Friday in a weekday show, or the show's own day in a weekend show. Mentions and competitions can sit in a show; promos run across the schedule.

Uses the on-air dates in card 2 and the amount above. Each station's fit is estimated from its Ipsos gender and age profile; each time band's audience comes from Ipsos's 15-minute data. The plan gets a "Why this plan" page.

This is the on-air calendar as it will print. Click a day to add a unit, drag to paint a run, or double-click a day and type the number you want. Switch to Remove (or shift-click) to take units away. Click any day in a week to place a competition week; click a day to move an outside broadcast. A line you touch becomes hand-plotted and its quantity, value and the contract follow the calendar. Undo puts back the last change.

4. The signed agreement this plan draws on it
The Mutual Trade Agreement the client has already signed. The plan shows what this booking uses and goes to the client for approval and sign-off. The balance of the agreement is optional, below.
Agreement balance (optional)Show the balance to the client
Fill this in to show the client the agreement value, what earlier plans used and what remains after this one. Leave it blank, or switch it off, and the plan and the client email leave the balance out completely.
5. Contract and email details for the agreement and the partner email
The agreement carries the partner's legal details and the trade value only. The partner's spend with ARN and the sales contact go in the email, never in the contract.
Are we the official radio partner of this event?
No, media partnership onlyYes
5. Advertising Sales Agreement the client contract
These details go into the ARN Advertising Sales Agreement (ARN FIN AGREEMENT 0010 V4). The deliverables, the discount and the contract amount come from the plan above; the term is the on-air dates. Download it from Contract, PDF.

Paste an old plan
Open last year's plan (any PDF or spreadsheet), select the deliverables table, copy, and paste it here. The builder recognises the station, the deliverable, the show and the quantity on each line; station names carry down to the lines below them. Then set the new dates and download.
